The Unique Flexible-Mesh 2D Mud & Debris Flow Model is now available!

RiverFlow2D Plus with MD module can be used to model a wide range of hyperconcentrated flows ranging from non-Newtonian mud and debris flows and movement of granular materials. It is also useful to simulate inundation from sudden failure of tailings dams. The module has been thoroughly tested with real data and uses the same high accurate hydrodynamics finite volume engine and is the most advanced mudflow flexible mesh two-dimensional model commercially available. RiverFlow2D Plus MD offers eight different friction formulas for non-Newtonian and granular fluids for realistic predictions of runout distances in complex terrains. 

 

RiverFlow2D Plus may include one of the three RiverFlow2D Plus modules: MD (Mud & Debris module), ST (Sediment Transport module), PL (Pollutant Transport model) or OL (Oil Spills on Land model). Users can buy any RiverFlow2D Plus modules separately.
